grills 7 in 1 grill/smokers

ever since owning one I've been a fan of these type of smokers/grill, anyone else ?

granted theres some cheaper models that are not true 7n1 but offer the 3 section smoker/grill that you're able to have 2 levels of use. it works great for small numbers of people & still smoke smaller size hams/turkeys/etc...
& its so versitile(sp?) for what you want to cook be charcoal/gas/smoke/grill/fry

I Love Mine! I normally grill for a larger number of people, so don't use it enough, but it always goes camping with us.

I had something like that a while back that used and it worked as a grill, but you couldn't smoke anything because it was too thin to hold temps steady for any period of time.

As a replacement I have a buddy that's going to take my existing Weber Smokey Joe Gold portable grill $35 and add large cooking pan as a center ring so I can smoke in it. Here are some pics of the project he just completed.









Normally I lug around my WSM, but sometime it's a PITA and this little mini WSM will be a better portable camping unit and should smoke up those fresh trout without any problems.

This is too cool, a baby WSM, I need to do this one day
