NEW REVIEW VIDEO: Jeff, Joseph and Jerret VS. Grinders Death Sauce.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QRrLtGFLn7E

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_NKealQ5l_U

While I was in Indianapolis this past weekend, my buddy Blake Freeman and I did a review of Grinders Death Sauce, made by Grinders Pizza in Kansas City, MO. Since he is from KC, I asked him to bring a hot sauce for us to review in Indy. This Death Sauce is what he showed up with.

Heat-wise, this sauce was a 10. It hit you right away, but still kept on building up from there. It didn't just burn you in the mouth either. Everywhere it touched me as it traveled through my digestive system, I felt it. It wasn't very pleasant either.

Flavor-wise though, I had to give it a 1. There was maybe just a split second of sweetness to it, followed by this horrible aftertaste of pond scum and hatred. It was so bad that my body instantly tried to reject it. I hiccuped some of it back up, and from that point on, it was a battle of wills just to keep it down.

As of right now, this is the WORST sauce I have ever had in my life. I'm not a big fan of heat for the sake of heat, and that is all this sauce seemed to offer.

Now if you are looking to play a cruel prank on your friends, or if you just want to ruin a friendship, then this garbage would work perfectly in that regard. But if you are looking for something with a good balance of heat and flavor, go elsewhere. This stuff won't hit the spot.

Also, I forgot to mention that this sauce caused chemical burns in my mouth, throat, and I assume my digestive system as well. I have never had this problem with other sauces before. I've always been burned at both ends, if ya know what I mean. But this stuff, it created a molten path of destruction internally too. I woke up at 2am the next morning feeling like a nuclear bomb had gone off inside me. It was dreadfully painful, and was so bad that my wife was thinking I was gonna need to take a trip to the ER because of it.

I still haven't even recovered from this sauce either. Yesterday, I tried eating a couple of my pickled habaneros, and I felt the same internal path of fire that I felt on Saturday, only not as severe. I honestly don't think that this crap is even meant for human consumption.

Awful would be an understatement. Torture might be a better way to describe it.

Your package should be arriving in Port Orchard this weekend. Make some wings and see for yourself. :P

$10 for a 3.5 oz bottle. They also have a 4-pack that has all four of their signature sauces: Wimpy, Molten, Near Death, and Death.

I think I may have given myself Post Traumatic Sauce Disorder with this one. I get cramps just watching the video.

The hottest pepper I've ever eaten fresh is a habanero. I have had ghost pepper and extract sauces though, which were way hotter than any hab I've had. They were also way hotter in the mouth than this Death Sauce was. Nothing has ever been able to burn me internally like this stuff did, however. That was a brand new experience for me, and one I am not really interested in repeating, to be honest.

I'm not alone with my opinion of this sauce now either. Jerret (the other HeatAddict on here), received his package yesterday, and he reviewed this sauce with a couple of friends last night. He has eaten hotter peppers and sauces than I have, and the Death Sauce still had his number. He even had to force himself to puke it back up 20 minutes after the review. That is how bad it was.

If you get Brockie to do the artwork for your bottle labels, I'm sure that they would post in on their FB wall. That's the entire reason why they are plugging this one.

All the other videos on the HeatAddicts channel are getting a rub from this, at least. Each one has gone up in views overnight. The Death Sauce one has just had the most hits.

And here I thought my Death Sauce review video was a trainwreck. Glad I'm not the only one who couldn't take the heat.

^^^^Honestly, I think I may be trying this stuff again in the future, but only if it is diluted in something much milder, and then used for some homemade wings. Trying it by itself wasn't an ideal way to review this sauce. It was just the best way to create some rather hilarious video and screenshots.

I also have every intention of reviewing their much more flavorful and not so hot sauces, to see what else they have to offer. I just won't be bothering to try a spoonful of their Death Sauce ever again. No thank you.

Also, new and improved version of the Faces of Death Sauce, now with 66.667% more face.
