Melbourne, source of fresh chilis.

I'm looking for fresh chilis in Melbourne, none of that asian crap. I want American chilis.

If anyone knows where to get Habaneros and Serranos and good Jalepenos let me know.

I say good Jalepenos because the supermakets ones can have horrible flavour and are usually not even hot.

I have found some red/orangeish habaneros if you want to know where to get them send a PM.
 
Your best bet would be to grow your own to get a steady supply during summer. At this time of year getting fresh pods from anywhere in Melbourne your supermarket is just about your only option anyway.
 
Rowville Coles, tend to usually have fresh, large jalapenos. Only problem is the heat factor, 7 out of 10 times they have good heat, the others nothing. Also keen on the wherabouts of the habs
 
Most coles and woolies around my way have jalepenos and you're right on the heat it's hit and miss, once I start my production line I may never need to go back. :D

Go over to YouTube and look up mugsyjeff. That dude has a mountain of things.He's an Aussie too.
I pay close attention to his site because we share a nearly identical climate. The guy is brilliant.
