Sandwich of the Month

Hey y'all. A recent discussion with THP about Cuban sandwich's in another thread has inspired me to begin this thread.

What is a sandwich? According to wiki...

I myself shall endeavor to post a Sandwich of the Month for every month. This month I tip my hat to one of my favorite sandwiches, The Cuban.

While I encourage y'all to post up your Cuban for SOTM, for the sake of popularizing the thread, feel free to post your sandwich. Be it BLT, turkey sub, gyro, po'boy, etc.

Some rules.

1 ~ Meet the criteria as linked above according to wiki.

2 ~ True, burgers are sandwiches but as we have other threads devoted to them, we will not include them here in this thread. No burgers.

3 ~ List ingredients and methods of how the sandwich was put together.

4 ~ No matter if it is a classic reuben or tuna salad, include a heat ingredient.

5 ~ Pics are mandatory. Talk is cheap. Show us the money!

6 ~ No tortillas. We have taco threads already, and that also means no stinkin' "wraps".

7 ~ Have fun.

Toast up some rolls.
 
On some black iron real estate.

With chile lime powder.

Holstein.

Some with muenster.
 
Some with ranch dressing.
 
Some not.

I must confess.
 
No heat.
 
Those were red bells on sale.
 
They were made for my co workers.
 
They may be Mexicans.
 
But Miguel, Antonio, Placido, and Jorge....

They all will and can eat hot stuff.
 
But the heat, whether it be toreados, habaneros, chipotles, jalapenos, salsa picoso, et. al.
 
Is always on the side as a condiment.

If I bring fresh lime wedges...

I've seen Miguel splooge fresh lime juice on pizza.

They're crazy.

I have mucho leftovers.
 
But no buns.
 
I have corn tortillas.
 
And pineapple!
 
 
On still another note....
 
My area of north Texas got a good 7 inches of rain in less than 24 hours.
 
It was pouring ass down rain hard.
 
And I was in my garage.
 
Cooking that carne on my flat top.
 
Dry as a bone.
 
My neighbor 3 doors down was driving by in his bigass lifted brodozer. 
 
Pushing a wave of water.
 
He slowed to a crawl in front of my drive way. 
 
And gave me the finger.
 
Because.
 
Texans.
 
And most people.
 
Haven't learned how its like to live in Alaska.
 
Volcano going off?
 
Time to make moose jerky.
 
Tsunami?
 
Time to smoke some fish.
 
Earthquake?
 
Who cares?
 
That sheeit happens every ten minutes.
 
The biggest disaster event I ever witnessed was in Alaska.
 
1985.
 
Huge snow storm.
 
Avalanche blocked Seward Hwy. to Girdwood and the Kenai from Anchorage for 12 hours.
 
The avalanche didn't make any headlines.
 
The fact that Girdwood ran out of rolling papers because of it...
 
Did.
 
 
But I don't blame mother nature for any thing.

Mix sour cream with salsa and if your salsa isnt hot add sauce or something. Use a spoon to get a healthy amount on each bite. You won't regret it
