How many of you have skeeter pee in your carboys?

Right now im about half way in to some pink skeeter pee in my 2.5 gallon carboy.

I don't have any idea what any of that means. No offense =(

What is skeeter pee, and what is a carboy? is carboy referring to the container of (alcohol?) liquid on your counter top?

WOW,i love the shape of that carboy. all the small volume carboys ive ever seen are skinny and tall.
i love the look of that thing.

Skeeter Pee is a homemade alcoholic beverage, its like lemon wine. Carboy is the glass container(sometimes they are plastic too).

I added two crushed campden tablets and one tbs bentonite to clear it. Hopefully tonight I can bottle it.

get Biofine Clear, or lucilite, or PVPP (polyvinylpyrrolidone)

3 day contact time, clear as a glass of water

im going to have to look into something different than bentonite because it isnt clearing. I may get some sparklloid.

Let it sit in a dark place for a few months----this is not rocket science. It will clear on its own without adding any contaminating ingredients.

Buy more than one carboy so you do not have to rush the wine. It tastes a lot better when it is completed naturally and it comes out a lot clearer than forced participation.

I really should check this thread more.. I have racked it off of its yeast cake, washed my little carboy, and racked back into it. I guess it will sit until its clear or until I find a clearing solution and bottle it.

I finally got around to bottling this stuff. I am going to mail some bottles to a friend in N.Y.
