About 6 pm (9 Eastern) it was very s l o w.
Wow! I get it now. I always think it's the garbage can lid, reflecting off of an aluminum latter,
Reflecting off some dudes mobile home, we call our wireless ISP.

Scovie I upgraded to Turbo speed when I lined my garbage can lid with Heavy Duty Alumin Foil which gives me a better bounce off of the ladder. Now I'm thinking if I foil the ladder I might even get up to Lightining Speed!

hah my ISP is similar to yours...

Its actually too far to simply bounce off the ladder... So I had to buy a router I could creatively re-engineer to use as a wireless network card... It also functions as a wireless router.

But it still bounces wireless internet off my house, off the trashcan lid, off my car, off the neighbors mobile, off their truck, and then up inside my other neighbors house (100 yds away).

Been getting ~1mbps download speeds though, so I can't complain too much.

My creatively re-engineered router is sitting inside half a cheerios box, lined inside and out with tin foil...

Its so fashionable, I've been considering making a hat that looks like a moruga scorpion out of the stuff...
