Saying hello from The Netherlands, just so you know I am browsing the forum a bit, and hopefully one day can contribute as well.
I am Felix, and quite possibly a new pepper growing addict.
For the last 5 weeks I have a small number of peppers growing in pots. (in a window sill and on my balcony)
The pepper seedlings were given to me by my sister in law, as she sow to many seeds.
Since the package she opened (supermarket assorted veggies) only said peppers, the variaty is unknown untill today.
I think it will be "Dutch pepper" which should be closely related to cayenne, if not completely the same.

And some photo's from today...are those buds forming? I that normal for such a small plant?
The plants are now around 6-8 weeks old since sowing. The white pots I had laying around and about 6 inch squared.
In the orange pot is a seedling from a Red Jalapeno (if that pepper even exists) took about 2 weeks to pop his head above the soil.
Note. After receiving the peppers they were already aphid infected, so when repotting I gave them a water/garlic/dishwashing soap bath. Since that day the aphids have not reappeared yet. I think I found the recipe for this insecticide on THP! Thanks ;-)
