This game is simple

Find the absolute worst fertilizer combinations of heavy metals that you do not want absorbed into your hot peppers or vegetables or fruits from products from the list below:

Let other growers be aware of what to avoid.

You will be SURPRISED what you learn about fertilizer in this thread.

I'm not surprised that there's heavy metals in fertilizer or that it varies based on which one. Sample applies to your potting soil, the earth in your back yard, and everything edible at the grocery store. It's one of those things that I do not spend time thinking about because if I spend time thinking about all equivalent risks to life, health and happiness, there would be no time left to do anything else.

On the other hand I do look both ways before crossing the street so I doubt I'll be taken out by a bus. :scared:

Is that parts per thousand, million or billion? Cobalt, Nickle, and Molybdenum are toxic in high levels but required in trace amounts.

Assuming PPM based on similar info found on the site: http://agr.wa.gov/pestfert/fertilizers/FertDB/prodinfo.aspx?pname=6324
