Aleppo Pepper-sweet and sharp chile from the Aleppo region of Syria
Urfa Biber Pepper-rich tasting pepper Turkey, has an earthy, smoky edge that hints at chocolate and tobacco alongside a mild heat giving it a well rounded, complex flavor. Similar to aleppo in terms of heat level (and geography...the town of Urfa is only one mountain range away)

When the Urfa is dried and aged it turns deep purple, the Aleppo stays red. They're not very hot, by my standards, but they both have wonder flavor....
Thanks again for keeping an eye out for them.:)
 
Don't think I've seen any, but just to be sure I'll take a good next time at the local market.
