Ska Brewing Mole Stout

I was lucky enough to receive a can of this early from our main beer rep at my work a couple weeks early. Ska Brewing, which is located in Durango Colorado, will be releasing this beer on friday at their headquarters. This is a really light stout but doesn't skimp on the flavor. I had a hard time picking out the dried chiles in this one. I also worked there once upon a time ago packaging their beer. I like how the can has the word Scoville written across the top also. Give this beer a try if you can find it. This is the first stout in their new line of stouts to be released, with one coming out on the next solstice and so fourth. Cheers

I wouldn't mind trying that one. Unfortunately Louisiana isn't exactly on the cutting edge when it come to craft beer, so a lot of good stuff isn't available here. Dogfish Head's Theobroma has some ingredients similar to the stuff in Mole Stout, have you tried that one?

No we don't get beer from them around here very often, surprisingly. Might be because there are so many breweries here in the state. I do like their IPA's though and would love to try the one you suggsested, would also love to try their Punkin Ale.

I can mail you a six pack if you to pay the cost of shipping plus beer. I have mailed plenty of beer to freinds and am good at packing it up so UPS doesn't destroy the package.

I think so... I think it was called Steel Toe Stout??
I usually just stick to Guinness.. Consistency..
You know how it is here in CO, we have more dispensaries and brewpubs than starbucks...
I did the grand microbrew tour when I first moved here..
Now and then I'll sample some new stuff.
Mole Stout, a must try..

let me know if you can't find it.

Ive had all their beers, love the punk/skin references. this will be on to try to get, though im living in washington and these were easier to get in St louis. was it hot at all or and pepperiness to it?

I couldn't pick up on the peppers in this real well. I need to see if it hit the shelves today and try to taste it again. Missouri loves the SKA beers. My buddy who is a brewer would make me send him SKA Modus cans all the time before they could find it back home in Missouri.
