So far I don't have any pods on my plant I had one that could have either been sb7j or red bhut start producing bhut shaped pods. The seedlings were bumped over at one point and those two types were mixed. I'll post pics of the sb7js when I have pods to show

Crazy, mine are the same shape as yours SS, just not bumpy.

In this thread SS said he had 3 different pheno's of SB7J I think? The SB7J I got from you was i'm guessing a different pheno based on looks,taste.heat level then the one's I got from SS. Both were really excellent but prefer the pheno I received from SS over the smoother pods I got from you. :cheers:

Yea mine were supposedly isolated F3 seeds Patrick sent out. But yes SS saidhe had 3 ddifferent ones growing. His seem to be a bit bumpier than mine

Just had a SBJ7 from Vincent.

Holy crap, what a stellar pepper. Amazing and rich full flavour, good heat level and seems to take the best of both the bonnet and the jonah. Review up in the next day or so.

Thank you for the seeds Patrick! I was able to germinate 2 of them, and the plants are very healthy.

I know have a yellow jonah growing. Looks alot like the red SBJ7 just not as hot. But still tasty.

Okay not exactly but very similar.

Got 2 seeds sprouted at the moment, and still have 3 that haven't popped yet. Barring any mishaps, I'll have at least 2 SBJ7's growing this season. :dance:

Is there a general pod appearance everyone's going for or is it just personal preference?

I thought they looked familiar, I grew the SB7 crosses back in 2012 which looks just like them.
