Baker's Peppers 2013 GLOG

Ok my friends, I decided to do a different GLOG this year :) I wont be going into anywhere NEAR the depth I went last year in my 2012 GLOG (Can be seen here http://thehotpepper....pers-2012-glog/ ) . This year I just wont have the time to stay with constant updates and such so im just gonna post some info about what we are growing and some pictures along the way :)

This years grow list is WAY less ambitious than 2012 as well, with some KEY additions and a TON less varieties! This year im growing 7 types.....ALL Nukes!! The list is as follows:

Trinidad Scorpion Moruga - Baker's Peppers Seeds
Trinidad Scorpion Butch T - Baker's Peppers Seeds
Trinidad Scorpion Red - Baker's Peppers Seeds
Trinidad Scorpion Chocolate - Baker's Peppers Seeds
7 Pot Brain Strain Red - Baker's Peppers Seeds
7 Pot Primo - Original Primeaux Organic Seeds

Thats it!! No crazy long grow list.....No crazy 6,500 plants....just a few thousand plants of TOP QUALITY NUKES!!

Also, this winter I spent 110% of my time moving locations of my nursery. We are no longer located in Tampa, we are now located in Land O' Lakes Fl. I would offer up a few pics of the whole "moving" process, but I got word of a few commercial nurseries/growers up North trying to carbon copy what I am doing down here in Florida, so I have been forced to not show pictures of "how" the magic happens...LOL :) I can however show pictures of the plants, and the peppers, and all that good stuff. So, if your reading this for those types of things your in for a treat! :) All in all, lets just say I had to find a new location and start from just plain ol' cow pasture! So thats what we did!! In the last 4 months we have turned a grassy piece of cow pasture into a full blown fully operational GROW! Complete with shadehouse structures and ALL! I will be taking my "Select" nicest most pure strain plants with me from Tampa to Land O' Lakes, the ones I have over-wintered for this purpose :) And I will also have a whole new crop as well of the types I wasnt already growing (Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion Chocolate, and 7 Pot Primo), which btw these new guys are already over 15 inches tall going into 3 gallon pots next week! :)

This GLOG is more intended for my customers to get a glimpse into where the products they order from us come from! To let all you guys see exactly what to expect when your package arrives from Baker's Peppers!

Thanks and stay tuned!!

I also want to give a special THANKS to & Mr. Primeaux for supplying the seeds I didnt grow myself!!Heres to an awesome grow this year!!

Sizzling Salutations!,

Looks good dale, just hope that carolina reaper is true to what was advertised and your hard work is not wasted. I'll be buying the reapers from you if they are true.

Thanks!

Good luck, Dale. Sounds like a lot of work to move and get the grow on, but looking forward to the results. Seems you are well on your way.

That is awesome Dale! Good luck on this year's grow. I think it was a smart move to focus on less varieties, and you sure picked some good ones!
Thanks Bryan :) Hope all goes well with you as well! :)

Here I am waiting up all night for fresh porn and it's absolutely nothing that would get me in trouble with my wife. I love this hobby!

Can't wait to see this beast get going!

"just a few thousand plants"

Right. Are you sure that will be enough?

Update.....

Heres a few pics of the progress down here at Baker's Peppers!

The 1st picture is how most of my seedlings looked coming out of the grow closet...Primo's and Choc Scorpions....they all looked like this coming out of the grow closet...they went right into 3 gallon pots...

The 2nd picture is how they looked about 6 weeks after going into those 3 gallon pots....

I will get a snap shot tomorrow of how they look currently....i have about 2,000 plants on the ground right now with another 1500-2000 in the grow closet ready to be potted up into 3 gallon pots in the next few weeks...

I will post more pics tomorrow...
