So I saw the Burpee Seed Starter at a big box store and thought hmmm, I've used MG starter before but my own blend of cooked soil, peat and perlite did just as well. I even gave the Burpee a little advantage, I just reused some of my own blend that had non productive seeds last round.

I took fresh not dried Brain Strain seeds and as you can see I failed during the plant I missed some and double planted others.

Oh well, first tah 2 sets of true leaves and height will be the deciding factors.

If the Burpee wins I will be adding more peat to my mix and start over.

Good idea! It never hurts to test things out or experiment if you will. I did some experimenting of my own last year. I learned a few things because of it.
 
The new one is probably not the same as 6yrs ago. The one i got this year was coco coir based. I thought it was pretty good too.
