My father in law had it a few years, and never used it. I can't wait to start playing around with it!

Seconded.  You'll have a lot of fun with that smoker, and you should be able to get good results pretty easily.  She won't hold much, but she'll do fine with what you put in so long as you get your temps down.  Good luck Darth!
 
ECB? I had to look up what it meant. That's pretty funny. I was looking up a few cheap and easy mods for it, so who knows what I'll do. Not sure what I'll do first, but I definitely have some things I wanna try. Will keep you guys posted.
 
Season it first and get used to its quirks and how long it will hold temp - but thats an awesome freebie - There is a thread in here about the mods and the WSM
 
I have had many smokers, and choose to use one like that.  Some people say they require way too much attention, but that is what I like about it.  It is very hands on.  When I use mine, I make a day of it.  Have fun!
