Armageddon

Okay, I know nothing about this pepper. Two of mine managed to make it into their final growing places, but one is particularly interesting looking.

Is this typical coloration for this variety? Can't find a whole ton of info here, amazingly...

Plant and Pods look great Eric!  Did you get these seeds from Vladen @ Rainbow Chile Seeds?  I believe he bred this pepper.  He has a pic on his site that shows darker pods maybe a little more 7 potish looking.
Hope your season is going well for you.

Hey Mike!

Thank you. For the life of me, I can't remember where I got these, but I think it was as a favor from someone that sent me an SASBE for a bunch of stuff I had. Have to go back and look.

I'll go poke around over on Vlad's site and see if we're close. I was surprised at so much purple.

One of your Cumari plants from your seed is doing really well this year as well as a Tshololo. <Another really cool shade of purple.

Ty. Wonder what fully ripe coloration is? It's amazingly prolific.

Douglah sound seriously unfun for me. Only one way to find out! :)

Eephus, the plant is looking great!

Please say you're being sarcastic. It gets on my nerves to no end when people release something that is unstable. If it's before F7/8 then it isn't always the most reliable thing. For example, a superhot will usually become much less hot, and no longer be a record holder, by the time it becomes stable. I like the pepper, but won't be interested until they become stabilized. It's just that they cannot be counted as a new strain until after F5 at the earliest, and that's if it never once shows any deviance from the F1. I hope this one stays how it is though, it's a cool strain.

Vladan enjoys making cool stuff,he isn't into shenanigans, super humble guy really. The only reason I am saying this is because he doesn't participate here any longer. I will continue growing this awesome plant,it is hot, uniform, and very productive.

Early season picture on it's first flush, the plant put out a few hundred pods by seasons end.

Good to know. I look forward to obtaining some of these in the future. Lotta pods, maybe if they have dorset naga added later they could break the thousand mark.
I apologize, I thought that he was selling these on a large scale without stabilizing them first.

Wow!  Cool pods, but, look at that dirt those plants are growing in!!  I'd like to know the make-up of that soil.
