My Pepper Update

I gotta post it cause I'm so proud!!!!

Out of 97 seeds planted, 21 were successfully transplanted from the starters to 12oz containers.

*Fingers Crossed* Only 6 known failures. Seedlings wilted within days of sprouting. It happens, I know.

But... I'm still proud!

There are more that are still too young to transplant, so I'm not counting them yet. I won't until they get their "real" leaves.

Since I'm in the process of reorganizing my growing area to utilize more space, I can't really take a pic yet. Yea, I need more space... I've got 96 total plants in 12oz or larger containers and more in starters. Onions, Tomatoes, some Flowers & Herbs, etc.
I'm having too much fun at this!

Join the club Ms. Poisonette...we all are looking for more room to plant...I know I am...congratulations on your babies...

I am transplanting my "backups" out of the seed starting trays now....translpanted 95 to 3" square pots yesterday with about 50 or 60 more to go today....

Welcome to the Addiction!

Sounds like things are going great guns at your house. What herbs are you growing? I've got several kinds of basil and cilantro going. I'm going to try some cumin this summer, but I needed to get the lettuce transplanted and out into the hoop house before I'd have room. One more tray of lettuce to go, and I transplanted about 35 of my tomatoes into larger cups. They go in the hoop house after tonight, it's getting down into the upper 30's, but the rest of the week looks good. My Republican petunias are the only flowers I have started this year, so I need to get busy there, too.

Poisonette, have you tried the powers heirloom? I started a few this year primarily for yellow tomato sauce and just wondering how they are for taste? So your trying the free sprite seeds, let us know how they are.

I've never tried the Powers Heirloom. My H loves yellow tomatoes & last year I made ketchup with Lemon Boys. It came out OK, but would be better with a paste tomato.
I've got 2 Sprite plants ready for transplant. My son loves little cherry type tomatoes.
