plant food

Well on my trip this past weekend i picked up some plant food for (what I hope will be) when my plants are ready to go into their final pot (5 gallon buckets) and moved outdoors.i have be reading alot of old threads on ferts and this 1 is a tomato and vegetable plant food. my question is about its nitro/phos/potash percentages. its 9-12-12. its that good/bad not high too low?? I does say to each plant use 2 tablespoons but i was thinking about only 1 tablespoon because of what i have read here is that chiles dont like hi nitro
any help would be greatly appreciated

oh and 2 new seedling popped while i was gone so now i am 8 of 13 so far woohoo

Your fertilizer should be fine but do go half strength. Its not so much the individual numbers but the ratio you have to look at.
