OK,,,SO I am sitting outside with my plants and doing a little weeding where the weeds are coming up through the mulch layer, and I decide to do my 2nd fertilizer treatment...
Should I...
A) rake back the mulch to make sure the fertilizer gets to the ground
B) put it on top of the mulch and it will work down after the rain or a watering.
I am about 50 percent thinking it will be fine on top, but I thought I would ask just to be sure..
I am going out if town Tuesday morning for a solid week and am kind of thinking that putting it on top will give them a slower feeding while I am gone.
