seeds Seedling Problem/Question

My Bhut Jolokia that popped last Sunday still has the seed casing still attached. So I was wondering what I should do.
Should I....
A.. Do nothing time will take care of it
B.. Cut it off just under the casing
C.. Yank it out and replant
or
D..Find a new hobby because I ask too many d*mn questions :)
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Tom

now you got me giggling Tom....

we had a thread on this about a month ago i think...where everyone talked about the way we handled seedlings with their caps on....let me see if I can find the thread...

Tom do not cut it off they should fall off. I remember the post AJ is talking about. We all have had that happen a time or two.You can Wait and see if it comes off by it's self, mist it good Wait a few minute then real easy try and pull it off, Hold on to as much of the stem you can get hold of,with your other hand use your thumb and next finger lightly pinch the cap and try to pull off I get almost all of the caps that stay on off I have killed some but they will die most of the time if you do not get the cap off. IMO and experience. Just what ever you try be nice

LET IT BURN

removing the hulls is an artform that must be perfected... if you wait the seed will give you a bit of a headstart and push off as much as it can or just grow around it, misting it like bowhunter said is a really good idea cuz it'll keep the casing softer. if the seed is still stuck with it's hat on then try your best and if you accidentally decapitate it keep it under the light a few days and see if it makes a comeback. plants are tough.

Thanks everyone
I have been dropping a couple drops of warm water on the cap every day so I will give it a day or 2 and try removinging it like you all said
Thanks again
