Has anyone actually tried Blair's 6 A.M. yet?

I've wanted to get a bottle for a few months now, but I can't find one under $250-$300.

I have a bottle of The Source, and I can't imagine anything more potent than that.
 
i tried the 3 am once and i guess i shouldnt post this on this board for yall will want to hang me by my neck until im dead...i personaly don't like a sauce that makes you whole mouth just in tremendous pain and numb..thats why i havent posted my top 5 fav sauces because most of the sauces i use are medium to hot...not atomic to blisterin. i keep with me at cook offs all the atomic sauces just for the crowd.
 
Did you both taste it 'straight', or on something?
I saw pics of a guy doing 16M and it wasn't pretty. 1 grain got him veerrryy sick.

Anyone know of somewhere I can get the best price on a bottle of 6am? By 'best', I mean a price that I literally cannot find most anywhere else on the internet. I figured some of you who already have a bottle may have some info. :D
 
Ryan - Your best bet to find a good 'deal' on a 6AM would probably be eBay. I think you can still get them for less then $200 there.

Why anyone would want to put 6am in their mouth, escapes me.

I've got a tiny vial of extract that Muso gave me... I'm terrified to look at that stuff, it's pharma grade... how many scovies is that???

I will reiterate the Ebay suggestion. I've seen Blair's there. I've often seen them open though.

I wouldn't dare violate any of those perfectly good collectibles by sawing thru the wax to get at the capsaicin mixtures within. At close-to-equitable scoville levels, you can always try other stuff out there if you really want to inflict pain on your tastebuds.
 
I agree 100 percent. I'm not sure what the exact pleasure is trying 10 million+ Scovilles. I'm not sure if it's a macho thing or what, but it's a hard to find collectible item. If there is such a need for pain, put a nail gun on your tongue, and set it for constant feed.
 
Personally I like the nice clean extracts because a little tiny bit goes an awful long way. Then you have to find the balance between searing heat and flavour. Granted, most of the extract based sauces start tasting like crap, but there are a few good ones out there that blend heat and taste. I slos add a few drops of extract to just about anything I want to bring over the top. When my sweetie doesn't want a killer chili, then I can add a few drops to my bowl and I'm all set. I can pretty much sit and munch a bowl of habaneros and it is all fine and dandy, but then what.... I need the heat baby!! :-) Every once in awhile I find that habanero powder will get me going. Soup isn't soup without my shake of hab powder. I have it in a salt shaker on my table.

I sampled that at the Austin Hot Sauce Festival....Tears of Joy was sampling it on toothpicks. After about a minute or so it felt as if a red hot spike was being driven through my tounge.

I went back 3 more times.

You could always try it on the hubby or give it to the kid to find out what words she learned since last time with Defcon 0. :lol: :lol:

You could always try it on the hubby or give it to the kid to find out what words she learned since last time with Defcon 0. :lol: :lol:

NOBODY, not even the kid, is putting pharma grade extract in their mouths! The last fool I know who did that put himself into the hospital.
 
:lol: I didn't think you'd do it. That extract stuff can kill. :lol:
I put 2 tablespoonfuls of Mega Death on a piece of Kilbasa today. Heat must have lasted 30 minutes. And sweat. Wouldn't reccomend it to anybody. But I still have 2 1/2 bottles to go, plus the Fiery Inferno. Gotta drink all the bad to make shelf room for the good ones. :D
