Lock's late glog start

It's the slow time of year at work and I had my 1st big harvest off my plant tonight. I figured starting this glog would help pass time at work and let me share some pod porn.

I have six plants outside, 2 in soil and 4 in a coco mix. Two Peters, Prik (the growdown plant), two Birdseyes (which look nothing alike and came frome the same dried pod) and what was labeled a Trinidad Scorpion Tequila Sunrise (given to me by a customer that got them on here). I also have a Birdseye and a Peter at work under a 400 hps in coco that I will take pics of tomorrow.

First up the Peters, these guys got damaged by mites or something else and were set back quite a bit after the first few pods started. They seem to be all better now but majority of the pods are deformed. Younger pods seem to be going back to the regular shape.

This is the soil one.

Next one is coco mix.

Even though one is in soil and the other is in coco they have both been getting the same nutes with the water the majority of the time.

Need some help to post more pics.

Thank you very much and nice av.

I forgot to mention in the OP that these guys are getting a mix of AN Connoisseur and Rhino Skin, I also layered the medium with some extreme gardening mykos about every inch or so.

Birdseye in soil. This one came from a dried birdseye pod and looks nothing like it should. Pods are a few inches in length. Very cool plant, but doesn't transition into all the colors like the other ones.

And the harvest from earlier.

160 pods off this guy.

Here it is minus the red.

This is the one that was labeled Tequila Sunrise TS. I have no idea if there is such a thing or if it's just a sunrise scropion. Either way it has cool pods and I'm excited to taste it. The mites or whatever got this one the worse before it had a chance to set any pods. It was set back a good 3-4 weeks and is now try to catch up with the other plants.

Nothing ripe on this one yet. I'm hoping it will be soon, it looks tasty.

Last pic till I get to work tomorrow.

Thanks for looking everyone!

Very nice and healthy plants and pods! Sry about the mites! The good thing is that the peppers should be nice and hot since the plant was stressed! Great looking glog :)

Thanks everyone!

Here are the two indoors. They are monsters compared to the outside plants. The only thing these guys have gotten was Sensi Grow/Bloom nutes and mykos layered in the coco coir. I haven't been hand pollenating so most of the flowers fall off.

Most customers take the peters, so I only have a handful of ripe pods.

This one is close to twice the size of the ones outside. This guy probably drops 5 flowers for every pod.

I usually clean up this many flowers every couple days. So if you ever wondered where flowers go to die, now you know.

I need to start some new seeds soon, got a Under Current from Current Culture to use as a display in the store. I"m gonna jump up to a 1000 watt and see how big and fast I can get these peppers.

If anyone has any suggestions on what to start or would like to see grown in this system please share.

Thanks for the comments and looking!

That second Birdseye really is an attractive plant.

This was the 1st time I grew Birdseye so I wasn't sure what to expect. I got a dried pod from a customer that was labeled Dilley Street Tamwork Birdseye. I'm pretty sure it came from this thread

I still have quite a few of the original seeds from the dried pod and tons of new pods if any of you would like some just let me know.

My 1st sunrise scorp is starting to turn colors.

I'm not sure what it's final color will be. It was labeled Tequila Sunrise TS, but I haven't found anything other than sunrise scorpions when searching for pics.

Here is a strange Peter pod. Sorry for the quality, I can't for the life of me find this pod again to get a better shot.

Finally got some ripe sunrise scorps.

Tried a sliver and it was plenty hot and had a very good flavor that was still around after the heat went away.

Thanks Trippa, I didn't see the six till you said something. Now I can't stop looking at it lol.

This is going to be my next adventure in pepper growing.

I'm thinking of growing the Primo in one of the sites. I have no idea what to grow in the other 3.
When do you plan on starting this set up. Had something similar in mind for 12 of mine that are in 2 27 gal tubs now, they will be needing their own dedicated buckets in about a month or less. Was think of using 5 gal round buckets with a 55 gal drum as a fill tank to top off the slave tank.automatically.

I should be getting seeds started this week to put into the system. I'm guessing it will be 3-4 weeks before I get seedlings big enough to transfer to the sytem. It will just depend on how fast I can germinate the seeds.

How many gallons of nutrient solution does that beast take?

Do you have pepper types picked out yet for all 4 sites?

Each site is 8 gallons and then the epicenter is another 8 I believe. It will probably take 35-40 gallons. I change out the rez every 2 weeks or so and just top off in between.

I got some Bubblegum 7 pot seeds on the way. I'm just gonna grow that one in all 4 sites so I can keep it isolated and share the seeds for people to grow next year.

Been on vacation the last couple weeks, came back to plants loaded with pods.

For as unhealthy as this plant has been it still produced a lot of peppers.

I have no idea how the lower branches haven't broke yet with all the weight of those peppers.

Prik growdown winner is back producing hundreds of pods.

Tamwork birdseyes  one grew true one not so much, but both are loaded with pods.

This is what i got from all 6.

I have too many peppers and two small flat rate boxes laying around, first two people who reply they want them and pm me their address can have free peppers.

Also the weather here in central Illinois is to damn hot to start anything indoors, so I will be starting the bubblegum seeds as soon as it cools down.

Thanks for looking and sorry for the cell phone pics.
