Isn't Heatwave a name given by Thompson and Morgan for a mixed Cayenne pack?

I have no idea, I got the seeds from AlabamaJack. I found no further information, but the name intrigued me....

Cutting back big time this year after last year when I went mad with over 100 plants.

I have got little 7 Pod, Trinidad Scorpion and Bhut Jolokia seedlings growing under lights in the bedroom. They are not doing very well for some reason :( . I also lost the labels so i dont know which are which. I just ordered 12 or so varieties of Cayenne type peppers from Cross country nurseries just in case the others dont make it. I seem to have much better success with Cayennes over Chinense.

Outside only two plants survived the winter. A Cayenne Long Slim and a Tobasco plant. There are 2-3 other plants that look like they may recover.

I also plan to grow Kung Pao peppers again this year as they were so prolific and tasty when dried.

This is my first time growing peppers and I don't have a lot of room for them but so far I have:

jalapeño
quadrato d'asti rosso
bhut jolokia
red savanna habanero
big bertha
takanotsume

I too am cutting back my list that i posted earlier.
Any plant that looks bad and doesnt make it I will not replant
and I will add no more to the "incubator".Training the new Puppy and with the Fly Fishing upcoming soon here (gotta start tying orders "Kaching") Im gonna be pretty busy.:)

The heatwave seeds were from Ebay...pretty good germinators...I am assuming they are some kind of Thai since most of the other seeds were Thai Bullet, Thai Dragon, etc...
