The pack said yellow scotch bonnet

Has anyone seen a yellow scotch bonnet grow and form color do the start with green and then black or am I looking at a nutrient deficiency or a different pepper plant thanks for your time, Dan

i have several yellow scotch bonnet plants, all from various sources, and not one has ever delivered blacking on the pod, even in constant direct sunlight. the pods can vary in green colour, from pale green to rich dark green but not black.
