i just noticed that my chillis are getting yellow leaves they are in a south facing bay window and are on 1/4 strenth food

hi potawie i think its baby bio the blue chrystals food you dilute with water and the compost is what my father in law gets i mixed it with a little sharp sand

Find out what the nutrient ratio(?N/?P/?K) is with your fertilizer and see if it contains micronutrients. Even if this isn't your problem, its always nice to know what your feeding your babies. A few more questions. Does your soil drain well or stay kind of damp? and do you bottom water, and how often?
 
the water seems to drain ok but there are in trays im going to try chilli focus is that any good ? the box that the baby bio has long gone now i kept the bag with the little blue cristals in in a tupper were box so im not shure of the n/p/k? do recomend any feeds?

The pale color leaves could be an iron deficiency called chlorosis....try adding some chelated iron to your soil...get a liquid formula so you can easily dilute it for tender seedlings.

yes way to much, I would bet that the yellowing is caused by overwatering. here is a pic of some of mine before watering. I water about every 10 days sometimes longer I wait until they are almost bone dry. I like to stress the plants as much as possible. Notice the yellow on some of these it is because they got way to much water when I transplanted they are now all pretty geen.

A quick google turns up a Bio Baby House plant food. Is that it? Its NPK is 10.6-4.4-1.7 . That would be very high nitrogen for peppers.
 
Over-watering definitely caused yellowing of the leaves in my plants Pauley. Even if the top layer of the soil feels dry if you can manage to stick your finger further down in the soil often it's not as dry as it seems. In England I find with the central heating and the sun on them the top layer of soil does dry out very quickly.
