vendor Canadian Vendors

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but have been browsing on the page for a while now. Just curious if there is any Canadian vendors here at THP or know of any that do offer fresh/dried pods and all that good stuff?

welcome from sunny phoenix arizona..
As far as vendors.. that i dont know.
Are you trying to get fresh ones thur customs quick?
Im pretty sure they dont have customs issues with dried pods or seeds,

Steve

Thanks for the help everybody. I've bought dried peppers and seeds. mainly looking to try fresh pods. I see that most will not ship to Canada but i'm fairly certain customs doesn't have an issue with it. Maybe delivery time is an issue?

I'm not sure about couriers, but in terms of regular mail service I don't think it's legal to ship food from Canada to the U.S. A number of years back I went to send a friend some Crispy Crunch bars (for those in the U.S. & don't know - they're much like Butterfingers) and around that time the law was just coming into place. The postal worker saw I had noted them on the label of the contents but advised me of the new law, put on a new label and let me get away with sending them. lol

Not really, just that there's such a vast variety of peppers and was wanting to give a few a try and maybe save the seeds to grow. . I can always just buy the seeds and grow them on my own. Trying the pods first would speed up the process to find what I like and would want to

I've been going though the same thing.  Try Pepperlover, you'll find her adds in the marketplace section.  Send her a PM and ask if she can ship to you and for how much.  I recently got an order from her and the peppers were fanastic!  If she can, I recommend her 7 pod Whites, my favourite so far (I still have more to try though).  It never hurts to contact any of the sellers and ask if they will ship, just keep in mind the shipping will be extra if they do.  Hope this helps.

Hey Wendog have you tried contacting Uncle Big's I believe he's in your neck of the woods? There was another cat that lived up in Whitehorse that grew his own to sell, a pretty big set up if memory serves, he was a member here years ago if I remember his name I'll post here. I know it's not ideal but a trip to Calgary(it's been years but the ethnic markets produced some & can imagine only more since the population explosion) or even heading to Vancouver will net you a good array of pods. I would invite you to Toronto where you could grab anything under the sun but most people hate my city even before Rob Ford  :P

I have the same problem, Oh by the way this is my very first post. I could not find a place to get fresh peppers here in Alberta, so, I did the next best thing and ordered the seeds and am now growing the peppers I wanted to order. I got my seeds from puckerbuttpeppercompany.com,  pepperlover.com and pepperjoe.com, Im growing carolina reapers, Moruga scorpions, chocolate bhut jolokias, 7 pod brown, and i got some seeds from a few bell peppers, and some habaneros from the grocery store, And pepperlover.com is by far my favourite, I ordered my seeds on sunday night, and by 9am I got notification that my seeds have been shipped monday morning. and the shipping cost was free and they have an excellent selection to choose from, but as far as customer service for the other two, it has been positive. I will post in the future of my carolina reaper pods from pepperjoes and puckerbutt. do a side by side comparison
