chinense The MOA Scotch Bonnet - holy crap they`re good!

A huge Thank You to Jamison for sending me these astonishingly good peppers. Thanks also go to Steve954 for acquiring the seeds and distributing them far and wide.

This is easily in my top 3 peppers for flavour, ever. I`ve loved Scotch bonnets for a long time, but these are like Scotch Bonnets x10 in terms of flavour. They are outrageously good. The heat is around that of an Orange Habanero, but who cares when they taste this good???

If you don`t have seeds yet, get some by whatever means required.

I'm stoked to have the opportunity to grow these next year and have a taste myself! Great review Nigel, my mouth is watering.

Having tried two unknown yellow bonnet varieties this summer (one from a local nursery that I grew and some fruits from a store) it will be really cool to compare those to the MoA. I noticed a definite difference in flavour profiles of the two I've already tried.

Can't wait.

Another winner with the descrition Nigel.
Wish I liked Scotch Bonnets, but alas I'm really not into the flavor profile.

Have you tasted a Harold's St Barts?

Wondering what the others of the top 3 are?

That`s a pity.

Yes, I`ve tried Harold St Barts. They are excellent peppers.

My top 3 would be Cumari do Para, MOA and one other from about 5 that would vary depending on the day  :P
Today it`s Cheiro Roxa

Truly a magnificent pepper. Thanks to Jamison.
And again to Steve for getting these seeds and growing. If anyone wants seeds I have some. From his isolated pods. How do we know JFs isolated. Ask him. He made sure they were :)
JFs. .... They were.
My Jamaican coworker nearly had a heart attack when she saw them :)

Armac was the person who received 7-pot Rennie seeds from Trinidad, so he`s the guy to ask.

Your Mailbox seems to be full. I'm really interested in Scotch Bonnet MOA seeds.

Late to the party but great review as always Nigel.  I couldn't wait for next spring so I already have some 2" plants growing in my basement :)

Fine review, Nigel. I guess this may have to bump something else off my grow list!

"Scotch Bonnet, thy name is MOA"
