pics Pepper Pics 13 March 2008

Had to move all my plants back inside yesterday...the forecast says it will frost Monday morning...good thing I only have about 90 in 5 gallon containers...these are all superhots (Dorset Naga, Bhut & Bih Jolokia, Naga Morich, Trinidad Scorpion, 7 Pot, Chocolate Habanero)...I have holes in a bunch of leaves...caused by pea sized hail...at least they survived...all seeds planted 29 January 2008 except the Red Savinas in the second pic and they were planted 15 December 2007.

A few more super hots...large ones in back are Red Savinas, Serrano and Jalapenos in front...

Ummm...you do know it's April right?

depends on what I am drinking at the time...

AJ looking good I wanted to put mine out this last weekend but now I am glad for most of mine will be in the ground and tonight suspose to freeze. "please Mother nature hurry up and get this crazy stuff over with"

AJ, GREAT LOOKING PLANTS :) I bet taking them all in and out must take for ever...LOL...I think I would be ready for a nap after moving them all. :P

how you like them jbl speakers??
I am a sound guy from way back and I have a pair of peavey sp4's that are too heavey for gigs but just perfect for working in the shop.
your peppers look dam good

I am glad I moved my plants back inside...It is 37F here now at 4AM....must be 10 degrees colder up where you are OJ...

The wife and I discussed putting sheets over them to keep the frost off and not bringing them in but since I have them against the fence in a "single" row I was going to have to move them in groups. Decided since I had to move them anyway I would just bring them back inside...

good catch on the JBLs Shayne...they are the "cheaper" model JBLs (JRX100 series). I have had them about 3 years and they have been used for about 250 gigs...have not had a problem at all with them and the sound is great...I have 4 of the twin 15s but only use 2 of them most of the time...I also have two of the 12" monitors that are used every gig...they are powered by a Mackie 808S. I also have two of the powered 18" subwoofers that only get use occasionally. For the money, they have given me good service and sound great.

I only got 14 transplanted this weekend but got the tray of back up superhots all transplanted to 3" square pots...

I am going to leave them in the garage for about 4 or 5 days until it warms up a bit...

Tarps or sheets might keep the frost off but the cool temps will still set them way back. Good call bringing them inside AJ. Anything below around 6 celsius and you'll start to see major wilting and permanent damage.

Nice plants you have there :) It´s a pity that the weather is not helping. Here in Portugal we almost hadn't winter, and the low temps and storms started with the spring :( I lost all my flowering bulbs, and some others because of the chilly winds :(
Good luck ! They seem in shape :)
