PEPPERS: Are 'my hobby within the hobby', so if I dont have a cultivar I definetely want it. Of course I'm always after any super hots I dont have, but my more recent interest is in all of the many proper Jalapeno cultivars.

Hi all its been a painfully chaotic year here, but things are finally stabilizing so I can now afford etc shipping labels and outside ventures again. I'm looking for seeds /plants for 'anything' I dont have, especially peppers. Inventoried and ready in the site I've got over 300 types of seeds (over 50 pepper options), and over differnet types of 100 live plants, as well as various chemicals from plant growth regulators to antibiotics. Most everything in the store is up for offer, except NOT from the packaged Spices or Caffiene Cafe categories.

I've just implemented a new live plant system, and soon I shall have perpetual flow of live plants for all of the various 300+ seeds I offer. So I'm also open to live plant trades, but if you want to trade for live plants without having live plants to trade the added shipping costs are of consideration.

I'm after germplasms (growable DNA) I dont have, in particular for things edible / useful, but I also like things that propagate very easily (succulents, cacti, etc). If a species/cultivar isn't in my site or any other added lists then theres a good chance I want it.

If you have lots of an item (like hundreds of seeds) I like that too. If you can provide me a photo for something I dont have ready yet (including in general, I many things now in the site without photos) I'll try and cook up added incentive to your liking.

Great list of plants. Do you have pics of the THAI HOT (Capsicum annuum) and the  VIET NAM (Capsicum annuum)?
I am trying to figure out what type we have here at our farm market and would appreciate any pics you have of these two,
Also do you have any comments on the heat and flavor of these 2 peppers of yours?

Appreciate it

They're very similar, but the Vietnam is on average smaller. It could be hard to tell the difference if you had a full sized mature pepper pod from each. I'd expect fresh produce sources to only ever have Thai ascensions. My camera functionality is mute right now, nor have current produce for them both, but comparing bags of dried peppers just now the Nam's top size is pretty close to the Thai, but theres a lot of size variability (from the size of Pequin up to Thai). Just tasted the tip + a few seeds of each type, heat very close but probably favors the Thai... the heat onset is a real difference tho the Thai got right to work while the Nam was a slow buildup. Nam in dried form has a much richer almost smokey flavor advantage over the Thai. But both are great for drying type purposes though. Comparing two like size pods the Nam is more wrinkled and more thick & stubby versus the more sharp & pointy Thai. Cutting them open the Thai seeds are much larger, while less in count. Thai has 17 and Nam has over 50 seeds. The lot of the Nam seeds weighs .188g while the 17 Thai seeds weighs .101g, so if we were to judge the cultivars by these two example pods each like sized Nam pepper should pack more punch than the Thai.

I would advise against it I've tried emailing him and everything i just got took.
I traded with him right after he posted this thread. It did take about 3 weeks for me to get what I was due, but I did get it. Are you emailing him on here or through his personal website email?

Bud i have tried both here and his website with no reply whatsoever. I'm glad it worked out for you and really no big deal on my end hell I'd have gave him the peppers if he had ask i just believe in doing what you say. Can't say he just screwed me hell maybe he forgot or something happened guess we will never know.

I wasn't trying to defend his practices or anything. I was just giving my experience with him, sorry he won't respond. I don't know him personally or anything

Well I sent him 2 PMs and 1 email off his website and he has not responded to me either as I am wanting to do some trading. He keeps making new posts on THP as he just posted in my Glog but don't know why he won't respond?

Seems like if you wanted to trade you would respond to your PMs and Emails?
