Defcon 0

Kato's received a bottle of Defcon 0 wax sealed and # it's going up on the shelf for sure as we still have some of the zero around for kicks and giggles and just before my post I tried a little and remembered why that little blue bottle was still around
First I'll start with the flavor that's easy a slow building inferno that becomes manageable quickly let me adjust that my lips are still rageing in heat wow! Flavor a 3 of 10 as it's strictly an additive to your dishes( chilli, bbq sauce,etc.) a little will go a long ways now for the heat everything i said before and plus the fact someone can make extract edible is a grand feat in itself. a 9 of 10 on heat. Great job John!

P.S How was the Habanero Bar?

The chocolate bar was awesome Mick, not until recently have I heard about people mixing habs with chocolate. Very interesting flavor, sweet with a kick to the mouth. My wife, who can't eat anything hot, alomst tried a piece, until she saw the wrapper, which I didn't hide well enough.
 
I finally have a real use for the 0. A friend brought me a bottle of Frank's, which I find has no heat. We'll see how that goes this coming weekend. Ought to heat up then! Frank :clap:
 
We actually had a guy by me add it to a batch of ice cream in his homemade ice cream machine (not sure what flavor). He told me the mix of heat and cold was really cool (no pun intended). I don't have an ice cream maker, so I'll just go by what he said, interesting idea though.

I can't even imagine what that would taste like! hahaha.

Hey, wait a minute! At all the shows we've done, there's always one individual that states I can't make it hot enough, and then let the self-induced masochism begin. I only build the bomb, I don't drop it. :clap:

As for my wife, her face turns red just looking at a bottle of Defcon, any number. And it seems the hotness lasts so much longer for her. It's wonderful to watch, I should video it sometime. Well, perhaps there is a dark side... :D
 
Hey, wait a minute! At all the shows we've done, there's always one individual that states I can't make it hot enough, and then let the self-induced masochism begin. I only build the bomb, I don't drop it.

I'd never say that. Heck, I spilt a 1/4 bottle of Ultimate Insanity into a bowl of stew the other night. Brought a lot of tears, burn, and some sweat. I didn't finish that bowl. It felt hotter than the 90K s.u. it's rated at. It was supper, and not a bet, thank goodness. :clap: :D Frank
 
There are a few said individuals lurking on this planet that can handle the extreme heat, and I think a few have found there way to this forum. But I do have a story that is quite funny so I'll share it with you.

A buddy of mine downed a jigger (1.5 ounces) of the #1, the bet was he had to stand there for 15 minutes without ingesting anything. He did it, and was awarded a beer out the infamous 'garage fridge'. Later that evening, after a couple hours of sleep, he awoke, and skated to the bathroom as if he was practicing the 'green apple quickstep'. He woke his mother up by yelling "Please God, don't take me now!" whilst evacuating his nether regions. Gives a whole new meaning to "ring of fire" :clap:
 
Got the order today. We are discontinuing the 8 ounce #1's, but we have a couple left, they'll go out in tomorrow's mail via Priority Mail, you may have it by Saturday.
 
Are you going to the 10 oz. bottle? I use a lot of it on chicken and porkchops. If you're going smaller, maybe you'll have a clearance sale on the last 8oz. bottles. :banghead:

I would have ordered some 2, but was afraid it wasn't any hotter then Frank's or something similar. :onfire: Most of those are drinkable. :(
I keep saving Tina's Mash. It's so good, I hate using it. Does that make any sense? I'm scared that one day, I'll run out and can't get any more. Irrational, I know.

Never, ever, tell a chef/pepper sauce master that you can't make it hot enough. When you lay down a challenge like that, nothing good will come of it.

Harvesting of Batch #2 has begun

Well, just thought I'd keep everyone abreast of the behind the scenes goings on. We started the Batch #2 of ZERO harvest last night. This stuff seems to have come out even cleaner than the last batch. As previously stated, these containers nestled in their eye-popping packaging will be unveiled at the Fiery Foods show in a couple weeks, but rest assured, those bottles that do not sell there will be available immediately to you guys upon our return. And no, we don't know how many bottles we are going to be able to create yet, we've only gone thru the first 2 distillations, and the stuff is now in its little cryogenically-happy dry ice container awaiting the next step.
 
can I place my order now? I have of some of this crazy bahamian money i can use ;)
