Ritzy Gritz Kiama NSW

Just went back here for the first time in a while.  They do tex/mex but describe their food  as "Califiornia Mexican", veggies still crisp, raspberry sauce etc...  I had a veggie burrito with pumpkin seed sauce, quite nice but what keeps me coming back is "poppy's sauce" which the owner makes - this was the first time my tolerance was high enough to taste the smoky habaneros (I assume) and get through the whole small dish of it without crying.  It's more of a paste than a sauce, not very vinegary.  Much hotter than Byron Bay Chilli Company's Habanero Paste but not like it's got extract in it.  They don't sell it bottled or anything so I'm assuming he makes it fresh periodically.  Worth a visit just for that if you're in the Wollongong/South Coast area.  Try the Beer Battered Chips with the sauce, you can get tortillas anywhere but they make some nice chips.  Oh and they also do Stone Grill but I've never tried it.
