Blair's B-99 Reserve on eBay just sold for $405

Come now Ryan, you didn't think you would get it for your $25 bid. I can't wait to see what number I get to give the high bidder, boomerdawg1. Hopefully it is a great number. Seriously, I was expecting a bid around $350, so I am happy with it and hopefully the buyer is too! It will be interesting to see what other go for now that I've set the benchmark. hahahahaha....not at all. I just did that for the heck of it. I figured it'd at LEAST go for $250 or so, but wow....$405!!! That's awesome. :banghead: I'm getting a B-99 too, so that makes it even more exciting. hahaha. :onfire:
 
Chuk, I'll have to agree with ya on this one. I just received my #38. I always put my bid in when the item comes out, and if I can't get it that way, well, I'll just wait for the next reserve to come out and try again. Hence the reason I don't have 4am or 5am, and wouldn't even consider paying $5-600 for one at this point. For some, perhaps it's worth it, for others, it just doesn't make any sense. Just my opinion.

Correction.

It's worth it to some, and it's not worth it to others. You can't just make a blanket statement saying that anyone who pays more than what YOU would pay has no sense. That's not really accurate.

I stand by that statement too!

Sometimes I have more money than sense...but I don't pay over ten or fifteen bucks for a freak'n bottle of hot sauce....especially when I can make some kickass hot sauce right in my own kitchen for pennies.

That's just me. It's a free country ...do what you want.

BUT, if you guys can turn a 300% profit on a $100 investment....more power to ya! :banghead:

That's not the point. The point is that you can't take any opinion and just say everyone else doesn't have any sense for not agreeing with you. If you choose to say that anyway, then it's kind of ignorant because *factually* it's not true.....it's an opinion, period. Not to sound too blunt, but seriously...it's an opinion...goodness.

You said "that's just me" at the end of your last post. Exactly. That's *your opinion". It's not a blanket statement of truth that can be applied in all cases just because they don't match up to your opinion.

I hardly ever argue on message boards. Seriously. This is probably the first time I've even responded to something like this in a few years. But when someone says it's "senseless" to do something that many on this board like to do, I wanted to respond by simply saying "it's not". It's an opinion. :banghead:
 
Has anyone heard anything about the B-99 lately? Last I heard was a week later than 1/2/06 due to the resin being delayed from italy, but now it's almost 2 weeks later and haven't heard a thing.

I hear you bro. I've been checking the site every day and haven't heard a thing. We need an update or something! If it's going to be another week or two, just tell us, ya know?. :)
