Devv's 2014- Stick a fork in me, I'm done....

Time for the 2014 start...

Many of these plants were made possible by the generous people of the THP sending me seeds and pods Thanks!

I'm looking forward to warmer weather and dirt day!

I have a bunch of seeds started, and plants at all the stages.

Here's the grow bench, a T8 x4 on top and T5 x4 on the bottom, as you can see it's loaded.

I like starting the seeds in Jiffy Pellets, as soon as they stand up I trim the mesh off and plant them 1/2" proud in a pot, or in this case a cup.

Red Rocotto the lonely Pube..

A few plants living under the T5, I'm super impressed with this light!

T5 lights are great, i just got a T8 and i'm in love with it.  Looks like you got a nice start for the coming summer already.
Thanks!

Both the T8 and T5 are fantastic, but I think the T5 with 6400K is a little better. The T8 has 4100K bulbs.

That's all I have for now.

Enjoy the weekend!

Those re beutiful starts, Scott.
The Red Hab looks awesome for this time
of year!  I had a red hab last year that didn't
have that many pods all season!

Great shot of the JA hab Scott!  I've been looking for sunshine today which was supposed to happen but all grey so far.  Hopefully tomorrow.

Seeing that Trin Choc Bonnet reminds me that I need to germ some of those too.

Don't work to hard!

Paul, if you don't have JA Hab seeds I'd be happy to send you some. These plants were started mid April, way late for here. They never thought once about being super producers, they podded up in 100° weather and as you can see don't care about the cooler weather. AND they taste great! PM me if you're interested.

Thanks Mike!,

I love the hard work, done it till 41, now at a desk...but that's OK I'm in the AC now ;)

Hard work to an extent keeps one young as long as you don't over do it. I hope to be 85 someday and still cranking!

Doesn't look like any of the newest additions have popped yet. Crossing my fingers over here.
The high output T5 are serious. Truly like having your own small sun. :)
The starts look really good! You got me itching to start more seeds, but need to wait a few more weeks. All in due time.
Thanks Jason,

My spreadsheet shows 4 have popped from the last tray, not that good a rate, but I have been doing one seed per pellet. I guess I should add more..The jiffy grow station is under the T8,so it's plenty warm. However, I did have a Aji Pineapple stand up today, so it will get put in a solo cup after lunch.

More great looking plants, had to google Bonda though, hadn't seen that one before.
Thanks Penny,

I could spend half the day taking pics...LOL. The hardest thing I'm finding is to take the pics and get the correct name down there. I have a spreadsheet and numbered the peppers according to location, and now after getting cross-eyed I use a clipboard and jot the number down then look it up..crazy huh?

Holy sheit man! Good lookin list and beautiful plants! What kinda soil and nutes you using bud? Any other seeds you need at all? I mean it looks like you got it covered but I seen a few that I have that aren't on the list. Let me know man!
Thanks Jamison,

No nutes yet, just the pellets and pop them into MG potting soil, in the green bag.

So what would you recommend? I think I'm out of space for now. Hoping it warms up so I can put some outside. I'd be happy for sunshine too ;)

Here's one for ya Jamison,

Yellow 7, I'm 2/2 on those.

Scott, you are leaving me in the dust!  Your starts really look good.
You got me chomping at the bit, so I put 15 varieties in to soak this
morning; will sow tomorrow!

Excellent progress on your end, brother!
Thanks Paul,

If we have a normal spring I can plant early to mid March. Last year they were about the size they are now in mid March. The supers didn't produce until fall because I missed the window. So I'm hoping this season I have have a spring crop.

Good deal on the starting, one can always pinch them if they get too tall. I bought 70 1 gal pots when it's time to move them up, cost 46 bucks delivered. The question will be where are they all going to stay?

Here's a few stragglers from this morning...
