New DEFCON 0 story....

I thought I'd share my recent experience. I posted a couple of weeks ago how I like to use DEFCON 0 in chicken marsala. Well, my wife and I had a couple over Friday night. One of them claims to be a hot sauce afficionato, so I asked them if it was okay to make the marsala sauce the way I have been.....with DEFCON 0. The woman declined, but the man, my friend, said go ahead.

Anyway, I forgot how much I used the last time, and, frankly, I don't use measuring spoons, et.al. when I cook, so apparently this batch turned out a little hot.....

Next thing I knew, my wife and my friend were guzzling down their glasses of wine, and then proceeded to drink water. Oops!!!!

I really didn't try to fry my friends. I don't have many left ;-), afterall. I guess I went a little over the top.

For the record, I thought it was one of my better batches. I guess I'll have to tone it down a little in the future. That is, of course, if I want anyone to eat my cooking ever again....

Funny stuff, we have a couple coming over this week too - i'll have to use Decfon 0 on some wings to clear them out.

My friends are afraid to eat what I make! Still waiting for my DEFCON collection, but since the ZERO is signed, I may not open, and will probably have to orderanother.

I have some od muso's extracrt, and it is definitely hot - haven't cooked with it yet (did stick a toothpick in it and touched my tongue - pretty darn hot).

I can still make some pretty hot chilesalsa using my Jersey death.

Maybe I'll take you up on your autograph offer Tina - i'll jump on your site now. What to get????????

Well, we are down to the last 7 bottles of batch #1 of ZERO. Get 'em while they're hot (no pun intended). We actually mailed 2 bottles to Scotland in a recent order. Ahhh, the global annexation is beginning!

Bad question, John.

As VP Marketing, my best advice is to get two of everything... One for eating, one for the collection.

The Peppermaster will sign them both, he's not proud.

Actually, the postage was only about $38, Priority Mail, 3-5 day delivery. Kind nice. It was a medium-sized order, so the weight was over the minumum of 4 pounds. Minimal Customs docs as well.
