Yah.
Me too!
For now, just 2 aerogardens with 66 sponges in each.
12 rows of 5 and 3 rows of 2 in each.
Went a bit overboard on the SB7J's.
2 rows(10) of the correct pheno, 1 row of a scorp looking pheno.

8 days, 10 poking their heads up. (out of 132)
Of course, all 5 of the thai Dragons are up, as usual.
I think they like me.
Pix when they are a bit more impressive.

Bummer.
Card reader on my box died, so will have to figure out another way to transfer pix.

50 4" pots fit under my 4' 8 tube t5

Almost a month and still no Galapagoense, Bolivian Rainbows, or Rocotto's popping up in the almost empty aerogardens.
3 window boxes with 3 plants each, 3  1 gallon pots with 3 plants each (and maybe a few more to come)

Overwinters still popping pods--3 1 gallon pots with 2 plants each, and 3 3 gallon pots, 2 with 1 plant, 1 with 2.

Yes, you can get pods out of a 1 gallon pot with 2 plants.

No, you won't break any production records, but will have ripe goodies in the dead of winter.

Great germination rate, but lost a bunch to damping off---even with a fan on most of the time.
Probably also the reason the Galapagoense, Bolivian Rainbows, or Rocotto's haven't sprouted yet-----fan blowing over wet sponges prolly too cool for them.

68 in the dirt, another dozen waiting for something to plant them in, and 15 more if the laggards come up.

And, of course, the 10 I have held over from last fall popping pods to keep me peppered up.

And did I mention, they all fit in an 8x10 room with my guitars, computer, and recording desk?

Wallmart "Nursery Mix".
Don't use it.

If any survive the disaster, I'll post pix when they are presentable.

Hope you can resolve the pic updates..
After 30 days non of my galaps rose to the occasion..so I planted a few more. Once the ambient temp under my lights reached a steady 80 deg most of the galaps emerged all within 3 days...........now they seem to be moving very slooooooww

Impressive list of Capsicums Gman.

Several didn't make it.

After 2 months of effort, I finally repotted everything in MG dirt with a sand topping. (to kill off fungus gnats).

Maybe good enough now for some pix of the survivors on my next days off.

Sad. They are now looking like they are fairly healthy 2 week old seedlings instead of where I wanted them after 2 months.

Live and learn.

Just shy of 3 months and looking like 3 weeks.

Over winters and semi-bonchi projects

2 year going on 3rd season OW's to go in the ground when warm enough.

Oh, a bit.

Every couple months for the last 2 years on the big ones.

Have to keep them in the light zone, so topping when they start to burn.
The majority of the pots have 2 plants.

They ate up all the dirt long ago, so they are actually semi-hydro, and get nutes every other drenching.

Ah so keep a lot of foliage even after you bring inside ey? I think I may do that this coming winter. Just prune a tad and stick the plants in front of a sunny window.

In the dirt and buckets.

Outside.jpg

Not counting the 22 or so I have in very small pots for Bonchi projects.

Big ones on the right side of outdoors pic are the multi-year over wintered plants in pots.
Just prepped the spot in dirt they will finish off in.

Semi-bonchi's.
More like miniature peppers. Not an ornamental, but a way to keep producing through winter.
Did 2 plants to 1 gallon pots last year---decent results. Doing 3 to 1 gallon pots this year, and a load of plants in even smaller containers.
Keep them stunted and heavily pruned till root bound and outside plants done for the year.
Then they are basically hydro-in-dirt, getting nutes every 3rd watering, and under the t5 lights. By winter, they go to every other watering with nutes.

In the spring, they get planted same time as the seedlings and clones in dirt, giving me early poddage while the babies mature, and I start a new batch.
