Pepper People are the Best

Not scientific research by any stretch, but in a lifetime vocation of dealing with as*holes, here I've found the polar opposite.

An amalgamation of really cool folks, from all walks of life, all points on the globe.

This thread bears witness and proves beyond doubt, indeed Pepper People are the Best!

I challenge any who may read to prove otherwise.

In public view and without anonymity, I stand proud to say!

Cheers!

I placed an order with Salsa Lady a week and a bit ago, nothing exciting, just a couple thousand shrink bands. They arrived today.

You rock Salsa Lady, thank you so much  . It was a great surprise, I'll add it to my collection of things I'm too scared to try.....

SR.  :metal:

a while back Reggie/Warrentman gifted me his line of sauces so i wanted to do something in return. i don`t make hot sauce and in the dead of winter i had no fresh pods to send him but i saw him post about liking craft beer so i sent him a few from local brewers in my area. today a box came and i open it to find a HUGE selection of craft brews from his local area. his kindness means a lot and reminds me that Pepper People Are The Best!  :onfire:

It gives me great pleasure to post on this thread again. Herein, is the lifeblood of many wonderful and selfless people.

I am honored to give a PPATB shout out to GIP (Guatemalan Insanity Pepper) !!!!! Arriving home today, I discovered quite a surprise (a good one.) A parcel from GIP. Not knowing what to expect (other than it would be good, here is what I got....)

A very cool assortment of goodies.

A bottle of Brooklyn Brine Co. "Whiskey Pickles"  soaked in Rye Whiskey with a "kick"  (already ate a few) slammin....

A jar of his homemade rub (the ingredient list sounds great) and the aroma is mouth watering... It will get used very soon!

A bottle of mixed Aji pepper flakes. One whiff and man! This is gonna be good....

Some Lucky Dog hot sauce, which will be my first try and given all the good posts about it on this forum, I've no doubt it will be great.

A "tube" of chili paste. Intriguing. Never before saw such a thing. Look forward to giving it a whirl.

Several packets of hot sauces made by Firemen. He included a cool little back story on these. I support firemen 100% Will pack a few in my lunchbox tomorrow!

A "hobo nickel" he advised me. A real "Buffalo nickel" with the face carved as in the photo. One of the coolest things I've ever seen and now finds it in my safe with my other treasures. Touche' my brother - touche'

As "icing on the cake" some cool stickers, a coozie that will see considerable..uhmm, "usage."

The "candle" on the cake is his Smoked Serrano powder. Can't say enough about this one. He was gracious enough to send some to me quite a while back. Ever since, I've been eating it on "everything."  A game changer in my little world. If you are ever lucky enough to get some, experiment!

Thanks again GIP!  You are the backbone of THP and a shining example of just why "Pepper People Are The Best!

+1

I am humbled.

Can't say so much now and not sound sappy. So I will say only this - " a picture is worth a thousand words" we all know that. A video is worth what? Maybe five-thousand words? I shared this when I first arrived and the analogy juxtaposed here still holds true for me. 'Me" on finding this place.....  Ripe for ridicule, I care not. The message stands...
