Pepper People are the Best

Mike USMC,
I’ve been a member here (THP) for a year or so. Had absolutely no idea on what impact it would have on me professionally or personally. Didn’t initially think it would impact either  … just an exercise in entertainment really.

Man, did I call it wrong.

Gathered here are some of the coolest people from all over the world. All walks of life, every ethnicity. Some, rise to the top in their generosity. I am sure others would do likewise if it were within their means to do so.  Just indicative of the caliber of people here.

So, I refer to this thread as a “club” of sorts. Selfless gifts shared, oft times incurring expenses greater than the value of the gifts given to make it happen. In doing so, the gifts gain greater value and the expense is moot.

There are many here who have been kind and generous to me (yourself included) but I hasten to name all, for fear I might accidently exclude someone and cause offense. So here I abstain.

Having said all that, just to lay groundwork to say this, Shorerider is an exceptional dude. On this forum and otherwise.  Halfway around the world from me (and others here) he stands as testament to true generosity. Indeed, I would count him a friend I’ve not yet had the pleasure to meet.

PPATB Pepper People Are The Best, but there are BPP Best Pepper People.

I make motion:

By the power vested in me, know all ye present who may read or have knowledge thereof, that on this day, the Twenty-Seventh of April, the year of our Lord Two-Thousand Nineteen, that Shorerider is deemed to be a Best Pepper Person and afforded all rights and privileges attained thereto.

____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

As is customary for these proceedings, in accordance to “Robert’s Rules of Order” there must be at least 10 votes of affirmation (or likes) for this motion to pass.

What say ye?  Yea or nay?

Count.

ok, i will say yea but i would also mention others here are also most generous including you reggie being most generous with me. but i see others gifting other members and its amazing that we take the time and effort and expense to share our enjoyment with others. you have extended your hand in friendship and shown me your generosity and means a lot to me. more than you may know. we all do what we can within our means. i say we are all "the best"

luvmesump3pp3rz,

What a great display of diplomacy, I am impressed and offer salute.  Perhaps it may be divisive to make such claims or titles. Twenty-four hours have passed and the required number of votes fell short. So I withdraw my motion and I believe point was made nonetheless. There are some really cool people here to be sure.

I guess no harm in showing what "would have" went along with the title -  a 1974 AMC Gremlin, with dual Holley carbs, Thrush exhaust, bored Vertex pistons, Hurst shift kit and Coon skin covered bucket seats. Every man's dream.....

Well Shorerider, you're still tops in my book. Kinda glad this idea fell through, the shipping costs would've been horrible!!

I appreciate the sentiment WM, I am truly humbled. However I'm no more worthy of such a title than any of the awesome people here, including yourself.

You sir have just about sent every bloody member here a taste of your fine products. How you have any leftover for actual "sales" is mind boggling.

Here's a PPATB thank you that's about a week overdue. Shorerider, your package arrived, safe and sound, earlier this week, mate. Really sorry it took me so long to get around to logging in and posting this!

Words cannot express my gratitude, man. You've gone above and beyond, yet again, bro. So much awesome stuff in this box (for me ;) ), and the kids LOVED their presents as well. My two boys have been playing with the boomerangs all week! They still need "quite a bit" of practice  My daughter loves the stuffed animal and thinks it's the coolest thing in the world that she now has seashells from halfway around the globe

I'm really looking forward to firing up my smoker, cooking some ribs with your rub, kicking my feet up, and sipping on these beers and rum!

It goes without saying, but THANK YOU, SHORERIDER, very very much!

Mike, you are most welcome mate, I'm glad everything made it intact. It's such a worry when you're sending so much glassware almost 9,000 miles away, the wait is terrible.

As much as I knew how much you like your whiskey, the rum is Australian. I'm glad your kids are getting a kick out of the gifts, the soft toy is an Echidna, yet another one of our weird animals. I hope you enjoy everything, I look forward to seeing your upcoming cooks.

Uh-oh.....

I'VE BEEN SERVED!!!!

This is absolutely amazing!!! WarrantMan is a very prompt, thorough, kind, and a generally all-around nice guy. We need more people like you on the force, Reggie.

I can't thank you enough for this entire FULL-SET of Sauces!!!

My girlfriend loves the tiny handcuffs!!! Great packaging and I love the presentation!!!

EDIT:

Whoops...forgot...
PPATB!!!

A few days ago, I contacted SalsaLady because she noted that most of the hot sauce in her pantry has become hum-drum...always there...like ketchup. There aren't any that make you decide to make an entire meal just to try that sauce. So I sent her a message and asked if I could help.

Long story short: I sent something to her and she has already sent something to me. I got this glorious package today! Holy moly...! New shtuff!!! Check out all the goodies!!!

This is so fantastic!!! Thank you very much, Ann!!!! You are one of a kind!!!

EDIT:
She also threw in a couple of Mardi Gras necklaces. I forgot cuz I was wearing them. Lol

Good to see they all made it safe and sound. Your enthusiasm for trying all the sauces is great, but I'm not sure how good a fire roasted tropical worchesterhire 7 pot steak sauce with jalapeno pure evil will be.

But then again, it could be killa.

Thanks for reaching out, the pantry will be happy for the new goodies...and seeds.

Getting my sauce on this year!!!! After the fantastic free collections of sauce I got from WM & SL, I decided....more. So, I contacted Garrett at pexpeppers.com and placed an order. It works out terrifically for me because PexPeppers accepts payment methods other than digital/credit card...which I have neither of.

I ordered 1 Bottle of 7 Pot Panic (Douglah BBQ sauce) and 1 Bottle of Lemon Yellow Jacket (Lemon Fatalii).... AND HE THREW IN A FREE FULL-SIZED CONTAINER (100gr.) OF PUEBLO DYNAMITE (Pueblo Chile Taco Seasoning) AND PUEBLO CHILE SEEDS!!!!

WOOOOOOOOT!!!!

I can't wait to break open this Fatalii sauce!!! Gimme a straw!!!
Thank you very much, Garrett! I love your All-Natural sauces and my PexPeppers collection is slowly growing!!!

Bhuter offered up a trade to me cuz I was whining that the sauces in my pantry were boring.  I was referring to the sauces from other companies that we use, like Sweet Spicy Girl, El Fuego, and some others.  Granted, they are great sauces!  Don't get me wrong!...but we'd had nothing new in a while.

He also offered some pepper seeds for a making hot sauce class.  Not only did he send the seeds, he individually packaged and labeled them!  I asked for a couple rocoto and a couple aji seeds....he sent 10 varieties!  Thanks for the variety of sauces and seeds, Adam.  PepperPeopleRock!!!

Youwza!  Those hungarian sauces are HOT...one of them is basically a pepper puree as 50% is superhots and 20% is hungarian hot peppers.  The Elijas is very interesting, great smell, made with black cherries.  Pretty good.  And of course, IronMike's.  Been a few years, but we had it before.
Good Stuff~
