• If you can't find a "Hot" category that fits, post it here!

what countries like real spicey food?

Here in Saramento there is a bunch of ethnic pockets. Can you guys recommend a nationality that eats the hot stuff. A dish to order would be well appreciated as well.

Thanks

Summed it up quite nicely, I think.

The Japanese like heat, but in wasabi form rather than pepper. Filmost is an exception to the rule, at least according to him sometimes.
Next are other South American countries, not to the same extent due to limited C.Chinense peppers growing there. They have other, less hot species.
That's all, I think.

Some ethnic groups that do NOT do well with heat, but are very funny to watch, are: Scandinavian, Slavic, and Mediterranean(northern at least).

And the Koreans love spicy food as well. My TKD instructor was born and raised there, and he could eat habaneros like a fat kid eats M&M's at Haloween! He said he could eat spicy food before he was out of diapers

Jamaican - Jerk chicken
Chinese - Hunan and Sichuan regions
USA - Cajun and New Mexican

Vietnamese love it too,my Vietnamese neighbors love me because near the end of the season i always hook them up with whats left and there very happy with the hot peppers i give them, green or red they dont care

they love there hot peppers and im told eat them in almost every dish they make

thanks your friend joe
