Heat Levels

If I grow two or more of the same variety, are there any tried and true methods to grow hotter peppers from one plant to the next? Different growing media, additives/fertilizer, daylight hours, watering, outdoor/indoor/greenhouse, etc. I have seeds for several super hots, I'm mostly curious if there is any way to push the limits on heat. Not trying to break records or anything... I just like playing with fire!

Stressing them is the best way to get the most heat out of your pods. Hold back on water... only water when they look sad. That stresses them and makes more heat

Thanks for that.

No worries on the hot varieties. I have 7 Pods, Ghosts, Scorpions, Reapers etc. Just getting seads started as we have just cleared the 32f lows and plants go outside til early June.
