seeds Just put the rest of my pepper seeds in the propagator

Just put the final nine strains of peppers I am growing this season into the propagator thanks to my friend San Patricio.
I have never grown these strains so it's going to be interesting. The nine are Lemon Drop, Ancient Sweet, Aji Jose, Charapita, Mirisol, Jimmy Nardello, Cubanelle, Padron and an ornamental called Explosive Ember.

Those Padron and J Nards are two of my favorites.

The Padrons, picked green are not hot. Put them in a skillet of hot, salted olive oil just until they blister. Add fresh baked bread from the oven and you're set.
Mine have just sprouted. I can't wait.

The J Nards, I like to smoke or roast and pack them in a jar of slightly diluted vinegar stored in the fridge for making hot sauces in the winter. It caramelizes better than any pepper I know.

I want to try the Charapita next year.
