A few weeks ago my greenhouse fan went out and killed quite a few of my plants some of which i had no more seeds to grow new ones. It was a bad day. But I knew that the starter plants would becoming available to buy so I went searching. One plant I wanted to buy was the Ghost Scorpion because I have heard many good things about the heat and flavor.

John Ford at Fords Fiery Foods has been good to me in the past but I had never bought plants from him only seeds, and even then he sent extra seeds of different species, so I had high standards from him. He did not disappoint at all!

The seedlings come packaged very well! Not even a leaf was broken, stem bent, or a blemish on them. They have great root structure and the roots were beautiful, white as white could be! As for the leaves colors, they were the most beautiful color of green you can imagine, perfect healthy green color, no marks, dents, tears, or bug bites. Just perfect.

I wish he had starter plants of the Brazilian Brain Strain because some of mine died, but he does not, that's ok though!

So John, keep it up, you're doing great things! Great seeds as well, I had a 11/12 seedling germination rate on the Ghost Scorpions I bought which is awesome!

John had a 50% off sale last week and as a bonus one or two lucky customers would win some of John's Chocolate Brain Strain Hybrid seeds. So I placed an order for a few things not really expecting to win but liking the half off discount. Low and behold when I opened the package there was Chocolate Brain Strain seeds. Awesome!

Another great purchase from John. He is growing and selling the true chocolate brain strain. He will be releasing seeds sometime this Fall. Last week he released a very few packs early on FB. I was lucky enough to get a pack. Seeds arrived super fast. Have a couple in the dirt already. Very excited

For as much as ive ordered from "Fords Fiery Foods and Plants" ive never seem to have gotten around to a review. Which is completely weird as i have never had a bad experience in the 5 or so times ive ordered from him. Seeds always get to me fast, grow true, and he adds freebies all the time. (TBH hes creepy good at guessing what you want for freebies) Overall ive had nothing but great experieces and will always go back to him first before anyone else.

Ordered from Fords again recently and just received my order. (I Ordered Ghengis Khan Brain, 7BG Naga, and 7BGC) I got plenty of seeds to start and they were all in great condition. He also sent me Pimiento X Reaper and some other variety that i cant seem to remember the name of to save my life. (Like i said he is creepy good at guessing freedbies. i was looking at the Pimiento Reaper.)(could also be tracking cookies idk, either way)) But i have never had a bad experience with fords.

My recent order from John. The Pimenta Reaper X looks and sounds pretty cool. The Big Red Mama completes my Big Mama collection. The chocolates I grew from Troy last year were badass. Smooth order from Fords as usual.

This was my first time ordering from Ford's. I placed the order late on January 5th and by the 7th the order was processed. Given the time of year and the fact that I'm up in Canada I gathered it would take longer to arrive than another order I placed from a Canadian vendor. When it hadn't arrived yesterday I contacted them through their website and John responded promptly letting me know that it had shipped on the 11th and he even included a photo of envelope he shipped as proof (very wise idea).

Today the mail was checked again and, sure enough, it was there. I jumped the gun by a day (I sometimes get a wee bit paranoid when it comes to our postal service) lol

Not only is my order spot-on, but he also threw in three varieties for free.

This was my first experience with Ford's and I must say that I am extremely happy! A friend placed an order of one variety and had it sent to me. I received it promptly and with an excellent freebie! (How did he know I wanted that strain as well?). I immediately started a seed and it germinated in 5 days. Thank you very much John! The strain on the left was ordered and the right is the freebie.
