DEFCON-versations is BACK! Listen to 7/14/15's show!

Looks like it. I will be teaming up with Grilliant Ideas on Tuesday nights at 7pm. Grilliant Ideas have had a regular radio/podcast for years, and from the awesome response to our appearance on their show a couple weeks ago, they've offered me a 1/2 hour spot on their casts.

I will be discussing not just our stuff, but discussing the entire industry. I will be bringing guests on from other companies to discuss their take on things, and will announce upcoming events. I will also be taking calls from people to answer their questions. This is gonna be a LOT of fun, and may even turn into an hour broadcast. Stay tuned for more info.

Ok, the first week went well, with a few hundred listeners, now, I'm looking to get guests on the show to discuss their company and the industry as a whole. I have a few people lined up thus far, like Steve Seabury of High River Sauces, Tom Slosser of Tom's Roid Rippin, Mike Freedman, pro chili cook from the ICS, etc.

Let me know if you're interested, and I can add you to the list. The show is currently 1/2 hour, looking to make it an hour. It's usually Tuesdays at 7pm, but With a scheduling conflict, next weeks show will be on Thursday, May 5/8 at 9pm E.S.T..

This is a pretty cool offer, not to mention free advertising.

Tomorrow night's guest will be Patrick Tolbert from Smok-Brand (yes, Smok, without the e) Hot Sauce, out of Colorado. We will be discussing how he got started, and his plans for the future, plus a bunch of other stuff. This week, the show is on Thursday at 9pm EST.

Well, due to the host being stuck in St. Louis Airport due to storms, we're postponing the show until this Tuesday at 7pm EST, the normal time, and our guest, Patrick Tolbert, from Smok-Brand sauces will be with us as well.

Kinda surprised that no manufacturers have answered the call here to be a guest on the show. Between hot sauce, Chili and BBQ, we have a number of guests lined up. So be it, I offered early on. I always thought free advertising is what people wanted, which is one reason I started doing the show. No sweat off my back. Tune in tomorrow night when we bring a brand-newbie, Patrick Tolbert, from Smok-Brand Sauces (yes, there is no E), out of Colorado, front and center. Nothin' like getting a guy just starting out, with a few questions...Who knows, perhaps a follow-up in a few months to see how he's doing is in order. This is how the show works, and feel free to call in with questions.

Awesome show last night, Patrick from SMOK-Brand did very well. A new guest next week (to be announced). I am still just amazed that no manufacturers on THP want to join in on free advertising. The show is growing in listenership very quickly. You want to get on the list? I'm an email away.

Ok, this Tuesdays show will spotlight a dude we have loved for years, and I actually request to be next to us at many shows, including this last NYC Hot Sauce Expo. Tom Slosser from Tom's Roid Rippin' Hot Sauce! When the two of us get together, it's just comedy, flat out comedy. His wife, Diane, and my wife, Maggie, do not understand this chemistry, and are quite glad we didn't go to the same high school, LOL. Anyway, this coming Tuesday, 5/20, at 7pm, DEFCON-versations will do it again, and have 30 minutes of hot sauce industry insides, with a plethora of laughter, just like it should be.

Wanna be a guest? Contact me. Again, FREE advertising, need I say more?

Well, last night's show was funny as Hell. Thanks to Tom Slosser of Tom's Roid-Rippin' Hot Sauce for joining us. Next week, yet another guest. Let the fun continue. Again, if you'd like to be part of an episode, just shoot me an email.

We have next week's guest all lined. We're switching things up a bit. The guest will be Mad Mike Freedman, ICS Pro Chili Cook. We'll be discussing the huge ICS (International Chili Society) group, how the competitions work, and some good 'ol secrets on how to make awesome competitive-league chili. Mike is a great friend from way back, and is psyched to be part of this. Tune in next Tuesday at 7pm.
