We had one of our bi-annual N-SSA Civil War shoots in Winchester, VA this past weekend. About 3 months ago, we contacted Duke Easley at www.virginiafirepit.com , to order oneof his amazing grill pits, personalized of course. One of the Civil War teams, the 67 NY Vol. Inf. had one made for their team, and we were amazed at how good it came out. The thing is massive, and comes with a porcelain-coated removable grill. I'll post some pics when I get a chance. Let's just say the Defcon logo and name look quite evil flickering in the night.

Yup, it's a pit/grill. We took the option for a porcelain-coated grill to fit inside. Very cool! (no pun intended). We intend to bring this to the various chili/BBQ cookoffs we will be setting up at. Like I said, I'll post some pics when I can.
