Peppers pods taking after their native parent or the pollen provider?

I'm just wondering, when crossing two different varieties, like a habanero-type chinense and a jalapeño-type annuum, what would the pods on a jalapeño parent as the mother and the adjuma as father look like?
Like a jalapeño or like an adjuma?
I'm not talking about the pods from the plants from the hybrid seeds, but the pods where the F1 hybrid seeds are contained.
Because I am going to make the jalapeño stamen be the recipients of the adjuma pollen.

The pods will look the same no matter who provided the pollen, all though a bad pollination can cause smaller pods. It is only the seeds that contains DNA from the father.
