Manojo Pepper?

The vendor next to me at my farmer's market yesterday had some plants he was selling as "manojo". He is a native Mexican and the seed came from there. He described the pods as roughly inch long, hot but not habanero hot,  red when ripe and somewhat thin growing downward in clusters. Some googling and searching on this site has not gotten me anywhere. Anyone know anything about them?

Manojo means in Spanish bunch, bundle (cluster as you say), probably this is the source of the name. Never heard about Manojo pepper....
