Hello from Singapore

I am a Burmese chilihead from Burma but currently living in Singapore. I've been lurking on THP long enough and thought it was finally time to say "hello" and "thank you" to the creators of THP and all those who have contributed their vast knowledge on this forum. I have 39 chili plants and seedlings currently, all on my small balcony. My latest pride and joy is my little C. galapagoense (finally sprouted on the third try with the help of GA3). I like all hot peppers but my favourites are C. frutescens. Yeah..so a big "HELLO" to all and I am so glad to be here.

HELLO! Glad to finally see an active member who is from Singapore as well! Good morning! My plants have not been so well though. haha.

:welcome:  from sunny South Florida!  :woohoo:

Thank you everyone!

Hi, Yeah glad to see another forumer from Singapore! I saw your grow log. It might be soil problem. It's hard to find good seed raising mix here, unless you mix it yourself.

Another occasional traveler to Singapore here. I love the local Malaysian food.  :fireball:
Hi, I like Malay food too, especially their sambal belacan (chili paste) that comes with most dishes.

I lived in Penang and traveled to Singapore on occasion, I'd be surprised to find peppers not doing well there :) What varieties do you grow? Any pictures? We like pictures :D

Hello from California :)

How does your Orange Habanero grow? That is one versatile plant to put up with your wet season.

My orange hab is doing quite well and productive actually. Pods are one of the most good looking ones I got.

I definitely agree about the difficulty in getting good seed mix. Could you please tell me what you use?

I mix it myself with volcanic sand, regular top soil, compost (all from world farm) and Espoma Organic Bio-Tone Starter Plus (from amazon). It works well for me so far.
