My Crazy Late Koreansoul Grow Log

So, here I am. I have started VERY late in the season.

At first I was just going to grow bell peppers (I put them in a lot of different foods) and a handful of hot peppers. Scotch Bonnets, Habaneros, Bhut Jolokia, Thai Hots, Gochu (Korean hot peppers), and Cayenne. However, (hysterical laughing) I caught the chili bug.

In this corner we have. TS Chocolate, Datil, Bonda Ma Jacques,

These are Bhuts and then the blurry further down are habs.

Jimmy Nardellos Cayenne

I"m using my own mix for potting which includes perlite, vermiculite, garden soil, tomoatotone, and kelp. I'm also organic with pest control.

First time doing this so please bare with me. lol

Great stuff! You're time will be severely re-directed now! Enjoy the addiction!  ...It only gets worse/better!

*Your

Looks like your gonna have a wonderful season. I love asain food and envy your list. Next year my list will include more asain vatieties.

Thanks everyone! Especially meinchoh who has aided my addiction lol.

lucilanga - To be honest it's usually still low 80's High 70's until Jan/Feb. Last year I don't think we actually got cold cold at all (30's at night) until March or April. Then bam we were going into summer.

My habs were still producing even when it got cold last year. They were murdered by a older Korean woman who thought their life was long enough :D

I also grow a lot more then hot peppers and I'm about to put some fruit trees in (laughing). I'll have a lot to talk about in this Glog.

Great grow list .... just wait until you can't stand seeing names of seeds you don't already have ;) . Good luck with your grow.

Neo, I'm going to start on eon Wed. :)

Nulle, It's already happening. I'm going to start some white bhuts, which was not something I was going to do, soon. :D

I have some 3" seedlings for you also (to push your bug over into addiction stage)

 - Olive Primo
 - Aleppo
 - Giant Jalapeño
 - Red Devil's Tongue
 - Chichimeca Jalapeño

Let me know which ones you might be interested in (and one of each is not asking too much, I have multiples of each that I have to get rid of).  None of them are hardened off yet though.

Hi Shur!

I'm about to pot up some 7 pot white and 7 pot primo today. I have an appointment with a guy to have a needle shoved in my eyeball at 9am so I'm up early to get that done before the dreaded appointment. I shall post pictures (of the little white cups not the eye poke). :)

Today I potted up some 7 Pot Primo and 7 Pot White seeds that I had started in paper towels. Since I thought you may not want to see a bunch of white cups with dirt I took some photos of the roots lol.

These are the Primo seeds and roots

These of course are the 7 Pot White.

I am quickly running out of space in my home to do this lol. Luckily I only have a few more types in baggies and THAT IS IT! I SWARE (scratching like a crack fiend).

I'll post an updated grow last either later tonight or tomorrow. I did start a handful (sigh) of other hots but it has to be the last batch.

I'm actually also prepping for the "Winter" season here. I do have a vegetable garden in which I do not grow peppers :D. My dogs seem to enjoy the new maze that seems to be evolving in the backyard of pots and grow bags and raised container beds (laughing).

So, here is a quick update on my grow.

These are the seeds I transplanted in the first post (plus a few others that I didn't take photos of).

In no particular order in these cups we have:

7 Pot Bubble Gum
7 Pot Red
7 Pot Brown
7 Pot White
7 Pot Primo
SB7J
Reaper
TS Brown
TS Yellow
Congo Red
Aleppo

All the white cups were either potted on June 22 or later. As you can see some of them have their second set of leaves already and are growing very well. I think this is very fast growth (which suits me just fine) can anyone comment on that if this is fast growth or a normal rate?

SB7J on the right with helmet head. :D

It's been raining here all day long but it stopped for a bit this evening and allowed me to snap a few outside photos.  This is my Jimmy Nardello.

Obviously a bell pepper to the right. The ones to the left were supposed to be bell peppers but obviously they're not. Any ideas? lol

Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take pictures of my super hots outside because large bald eagles (aka mosquitoes) came and sucked out half of my blood supply before I could get back in the house.

I'll spray some garlic spray to control the blood suckers and take more photos in the sunlight.

Thanks for looking!

I wanna see what you're doing with all those reapers :p

And I hear you're getting a 2' scorpion too! Let's see an update KS :)
