Pimenta de Padron with Cheesy Potato

I saw a guy on youtube do something with Pimenta de Padron peppers, that inspired me to try this.

THE PLAYERS:
From the garden.

Peppers are halved.  Sharp cheddar mixed with parmesan cheese.  Baked potato soon to have its innards removed.

The mix of cheese and potato.

Stuffed for the broiler.

Out from under the broiler, and I'm getting the vapors!

Had to get the home brewed IPA in there.

The final touch: a dainty dollop of sour cream...and I swoon...

Of course, there is no fire with this snack, but, it's near the top of my favorites right now.  I'll be growing at least 6 of these plants next season.  What a winner!

Padrons are the s**t!!! I grew those in 2011 and last year, and they are amazing flavor, production, and good solid heat. I might have to try this recipe with some other pepper this season, though, mmm!!!

Looks hearty and should be edible for most everyone . . . that is, if you're sharing.

Sharing?  That's why you need multiple plants.  I cannot imagine anyone not liking, or even, loving this.  Frankly, I'm going to try this with an Italian Roaster chile because that happens to be what I have, and, it won't suck.

The only forum I dig in is CWF! There's usually good eats I missed. And old drunk threads in TFZ! LOL

damn Damn DAMN that looks good! I want to stack those up and make a potato/pepper bake out of them bad boys..... turn a snack into a meal
