they are a very simple thing to make and it all comes down to how creative you want to be? You can make one using cheap parts that seals well and has good heat control for under $50AUD if you get a cheap second hand drum, or you can get good quality gear and paint it all up and make it look a million buck for maybe $100AUD and it will do the same thing as the cheap on but you friends will be far more impressed!!

and I'm happy to say that I still have this UDS although it's more for historical valve than practicality as I have a professional smoker that I have been using the past 2 years.
