Well, after 2 full hard days of planting, I have finally got them all out with the exception of 15 plants (I ran out of soil and buckets). Therefore, they are all going to either sink or swim. I have to admit, I do have some pangs of dread, fearing what the cold hard world will bring to my youngin's now that they have left the protectiveness of the nest.
Ya, I am beat and apologize for rambling.......On with the Pepper Porn!
This bed is full of various Habanero plants and the buckets contain JalapeƱos, Serranos, Datil and 1 Tobasco
This one has tomatoes and sweet peppers. The buckets are Aji Red, Anahiem and False Alarm (for my Wife)
This bed has Serranos, Hot Hungarians, Aji Reds, Mariachis, Ancho, and Anahiem TMR
Last but not least...This bed is packed! It has Slim Cayenne, Thick Cayenne, Thai Red, Kung Pao, Tobasco and Lemon Drop.
All for the smaller plants are from Cross Country nurseries and they seem healthy.
The green buckets were free from a buddy of mine and yes, they are paint buckets. But I did clean the insides out real good and it was only latex paint. The recycle number on the bottom is the same as the used sour cream buckets I found (for $1.25).
I am exhausted, but need to find enough soil for the remaining 15 plants to finish.
