Strange insect in Las Vegas.

This is totally unrelated to peppers but I was wondering if anybody has ever seen anything like this before? My girlfriends coworker has these strange insects in her house and none of the pest control people know what it is. This is the only picture I have.

Another vote for crane fly.  I have around 5 to 10 flying around my garage right now... not sure why they particularly like my garage but that's where I see most of them.

Looks like a legless crane fly or daddy long legs as we called them, the odd year you would get swarms of them which will turn your walls grey and moving as they cover they can cover entire walls of your house.

Some larval mosquito hawks eat mosquito larvae, some eat roots, shoots, crowns and leaves.
Adults rarely, if ever, eat anything.
Breed, lay eggs and die once airborn.

Guess it depends on which one you have.
